A Rose that Might Smell as Sweet

Sketch, A Rose that Might Smell as Sweet: May 2013: (c) Luke Bennette
This picture has a lot of various techniques applied to it. The first thing to notice is that the entire sketch is in the shape of a large rose, with the middle more bluntly a rose than the rest. The scenery will be more notable in the further editions.

In this version we see that there is a tornado, a tree, grass, dirt churned up into clouds, a small stream, droplets of water, clouds, lightning, and a small ray of sunlight. The rose in the center is the only blatend reminder that this entire structure is a large rose.

The effect that was given to this was an engraving effect, and a few other coloration additions. The blending of this picture as opposed to the raw and unedited colored version is notable and enjoyably warm in comparison to the other versions.
